Elastic are 3d objects that bend and spring in space encompassing variety and change. They are resilient works and together can be seen as a sculpture garden. A flexible look at spontaneous shapes, physics and kinetic energy -- vibrant color and formal aesthetics. The series of macro photographs can be grouped or seen individually. The playful shapes and vibrant colors elevate the viewer to a joyful state of mind. This project is a collaboration with Ellen Kahn, Dorothy Handelman and Steven Salzman. All images in the series are a hybrid of sculpture and photography.
